About SCMNC
SCMNC was formed in
2004 by area nurse employers, educators, providers and others who were
concerned with , and affected by, a continual shortage of local nursing
workforce. These partners agreed on a mission statement, "Promote Nursing as a Profession through Collaborative Efforts to Improve the Nursing Practice Environment in South Central Missouri."
The Steering Committee
further articulated the following goals.

Support a forum for networking, building and maintaining collaborative relationships.

Support area nursing schools in their efforts to promote nursing education

Create an awareness of the nursing profession to potential students

Support industry to address workforce issues
The SCMNC meets quarterly
on Monday nights in Rolla, Missouri.
How To Become a SCMNC Member
Download the Membership Application
and mail it in along with the annual fee.
Annual membership fee provides for January to December of current year.
The full annual fee is due by members regardless of what month they join.
Visitors may attend quarterly meetings and will be charged for their meal.
